/Dad, NASCAR industry congratulate 15-year-old driver via social media
Todd Gilliland, son of Sprint Cup Series driver David Gilliland, made history on Sunday by becoming the youngest ARCA race winner in series history during his first career start at Toledo Speedway. Having turned 15 years old two days prior to the race, the younger Gilliland became eligible to race on his birthday and is the youngest driver to ever compete in the series.
The NASCAR industry -- including his father David -- took to social media to congratulate the up-and-coming racer on an historic victory.
